The gas-station phone mount has a life expectancy in a Class 8 cab, and it is measured in days. Why do ordinary mounts die in trucks?

Three separate killers. Vibration works threaded joints loose and fatigues plastic clips until the spring tension that held the phone is gone — the mount still looks fine, it just opens its hand on the next big bump. What completes the mount into a workstation?
