FAQ — Mississauga

Common questions.

Why is Mississauga your home base?

Mississauga sits at the center of one of North America's densest freight markets — Pearson cargo, CN and CP intermodal, the QEW into Niagara, the 401 to Windsor and Detroit, and the 407 to the rest of the GTA. We're based here because most of the carriers we dispatch run lanes that originate or terminate within 50 km of our office.

Do you dispatch Pearson airfreight carriers?

Yes. Sprinter, cargo van, and straight truck capacity for Pearson cargo pickup and delivery. Carriers must have Pearson cargo zone access credentials — we don't arrange airport access on your behalf. Once you're cleared for the cargo zone, we can source freight.

Can you dispatch intermodal container drays?

Yes — out of CN Brampton (BIT), CP Vaughan, and surrounding container hubs. Power-only and 53-ft dry-van dispatch. You provide the chassis and credentials; we source the freight and coordinate the appointments.

What's your typical onboarding timeline for a Mississauga carrier?

Intro call within 24 hours, document verification (authority, insurance, void cheque) usually 1–2 business days. Broker carrier-packet completion 24–48 hours per broker. Most carriers see their first dispatched load within 5–10 business days of intake.

Are you a freight broker?

No. Trucc.ca is a freight dispatch service. We are not a licensed freight broker. We do not take possession, custody, or control of freight. All freight contracts are between the broker/shipper and the carrier directly.
